The executive recruitment agency recommended Ing. Patrik Rybářthe to the company Nikki CZ, a.s., for the position of Chief Controller. The controller's mission is to monitor the company's development from a financial point of view and to make recommendations for the right decisions of the company's management. High expertise in the field of financing, a systematic approach to work, focus on priorities, and high quality decision-making are expected.
Mr. Rybář completed the ANBE tests at the recruitment agency. These revealed strengths - acceptance of responsibility, consistency and persistence, focus on priorities, prevention of problems, learning from experience, invulnerability, and criticality. The personal weaknesses were weaker establishing contact, little communicativeness, low empathy, and too high independence from authority. Among the motivational preferences, autonomy and the need to make decisions about important matters reached a higher level. The recruitment agency recommended Mr. Rybář.
This was followed by several interviews with the General Director and representatives of the headquarters. The rather reserved Mr. Rybář answered very briefly, but factualy and concisely, he did not show off, and at one point he allowed himself to oppose the General Director (the lady from the head office did not have a clear opinion on the matter, as it was a local problem about which she never took care). On the other hand, Mr. Rybář stood out for his professional outlook, methodical approach to problems, and balance. In the end, however, Nikki chose another applicant from a competing agency, Mr. Černý, who seemed more convincing.
However, Mr. Rybář was offered the position of financial director at Sapelle, s.r.o. and was accepted. After some time, HR Director Sapelle told the agency how Mr. Rybář had proven himself, warned the management against accepting the upcoming risky acquisition, recommended adjusting the company's goals, and finally the headquarters chose him to join the team that worked on the corporate financial strategy.
Company Nikki CZ apparently terminated cooperation with Mr. Černý (the reason is unknown), and again turned to the recruitment agency with a request for a recommendation of a new controller. The recruitment agency correctly evaluated Mr. Rybář's readiness based on the ANBE tests, which the Nikki company was unable to use to its detriment.
